Heli-skiing in Turkey

Seems ridiculous to heliski in Turkey, since you might associate this country with sunny beaches. But don't forget that it is a mountainous country. Here, mountains can reach almost up to 4 km high, including the highest mountain Kaçkar Dağı which is 3937 meters high. This means that there's snow and there's lots of it. The heliskiing takes place on an area of 100 km by 30 km, located in the north-east where Turkey boarders Georgia. There's a short flight from any European location and a choice to spend some time in the amazing city of Istanbul.

This whole territory is divided into 5 sections in which there are about 40 valleys and 250 slopes that are inspected. They range from 1800 meters to 3600 meters high. Most skiing takes place in open alpine areas but sometimes you can ride in the forests.

The heliskiing is in the province Rize and it only takes 2 hours to get here from Trabzon. you will stay in a new lodge built in 2013 in a small village by the name of Eider .It is located 1200 meter above sea level.

This lodge will make your trip delightful since it has everything you need including :

It takes to minutes to fly up to the nearest slope.

We pay a lot of attention to safety. Our tour guides are experienced  and are certified UIAGM. Everyone in the program must be trained for safety.Our pilot and  personal assistance are from Sweden and Switzerland. Two AS 350 B3+ helicopters will take you up to the peaks.These are the most famous helicopters around the world.
